Meet the McQueens Launches

Big Little Fish’s first children’s series premieres on CBBC at 5:35pm Mon-Thurs, with episodes dropping weekly on BBC iPlayer

(London - Feb 20, 2023) Big Little Fish today announces that Meet the McQueens, the 20-part CBBC commissioned series, launches in the UK on CBBC and BBC iPlayer.

Starring alongside the rest of his nine-strong family, teenage cooking sensation and self-styled ‘king of the kitchen’ Omari McQueen returns to the British children’s network in a brand-new comedy-reality series.

Each episode follows the family’s humorous antics as they explore the world around them and take on life’s big and small challenges. With laugh-out-loud moments as the kids play, prank each other and plan surprises, every show is punctuated with Omari preparing an easy vegan meal to inspire young viewers to get into the kitchen themselves.

“The best thing about making this was being able to share the screen with my whole family,” said 14-year-old Omari, adding that he “hopes everyone enjoys watching it as much as we enjoyed making it”.
